  		Whether the player chooses to be Lance or Jaz, the story-line only slightly differs. In the beginning, the chosen character is walking along peacefully. Suddenly, a large earthquake occurs causing a massive rift to open directly in front of him/her. The character plummets into the deep depression, landing in an underground cavern. The chosen character then proceeds to navigate among the many underground passageways, encountering a plethora of monsters along the way while also being forced to answer various questions to advance throught-out the levels.
